Bottleless water coolers make life much easier for individuals or offices who prefer filtered water-these are water coolers or dispensers which can just be connected to a water supply so it doesn't have to be manually refilled, and has a built-in filter, temperature controls, and usually also comes with their own cover.

With bottleless water coolers, consumers would no longer have to worry about bulky, heavy, large water bottles anymore. This machine can be connected directly to a water source so it constantly refills by itself. It also saves on storage space, as well as additional costs.

These have a lot of variations but most models currently available have a temperature system, enabling a user to get either hot or cold water. Buttons or lights on the front panel indicate temperature selection, and a separate on/off button can be operated to turn off the temperature system.

The faucets are made to be easy to use and enclosed, for convenience and to make sure that they do not drip and waste the water supply. Controls to stop water flow when the filter or any other type of replacements need to be done, can also be found on the machine.

Bottleless water coolers can have just one form of filter but most models now have multiple filter stages to keep the water supply bacteria-free and fresh. The types of filter commonly used are micron sediment filters, carbon filters, or reverse osmosis. All of these filters are built-in, continuously operate, and begin to function as soon as the bottleless water cooler is plugged in. These filters are, in most cases, replaceable and need to be replaced within 6 months or more.

Products available vary in terms of size or storage capacity, style or aesthetic design, temperatures water can be dispensed in-hot, warm, cold-additional features, filters used, and voltage.

Bottleless water coolers can also have covers, which may be offered along with the cooler itself or purchased separately. Covers are mostly either metal or plastic, and enclose the entire cooler. These are installed to protect the bottleless water cooler, for storage, for sanitation purposes, and to be placed over certain filters such as the one called reverse osmosis, to keep it air-tight and to prevent any gaps. Covers basically shield the cooler itself and ensure that the cooler as well as the water remains clean.

Prices for bottleless water coolers differ depending on features or the type of filters it used. The design of the cover and the cooler can even be requested to be customized to match house or office interior design.
